[Picture story] Juicy EXP

At the first look of this SS, what did you see? Yay, EXP 150% is awarded for every 3^rd monster! The given exp was so juicy and makes every mapler’s jaw dropped.  I was hunting in sky nest2, heard that skill books are dropping around this maps. So,I spent a lot of time in the map hunting and training at the same time.

Honestly, I didn’t check out the maple event in maplestory website. I just found out the bonus EXP accidently.

Here’s the bonus EXP given according to how long did you login. Correct me if I’m wrong.^0^

1 hour    - A bonus EXP 10% is awarded for every 3^rd monster.

2 hours  - A bonus EXP 30% is awarded for every 3^rd monster.

3 hours  - A bonus EXP 50% is awarded for every 3^rd monster.

4 hours  - A bonus EXP 100% is awarded for every 3^rd monster.

5 hours  - A bonus EXP 150% is awarded for every 3^rd monster.

It is too bad that the bonus EXP of this event only given until 150%. The bonus EXP given remains 150% for the following hours.

The History of the devilz and the future that lies with it

Fornax was launch in Nov 19 2008, where every player has to start from scratch and guild were scarce during that time. Nearly a month later, on the 7th of december, IAmHealer recruited 5 other players start forming the guild, thus the birth of Cutedevilz.


During the first few months, members has been rapidly increase and with that guild has been undergoing expansion as well. From 10 to 20 then extend till 40. Guild events such as "Christmas tree decoration", "New Year Eve countdown", "CNY Ang Pow" give away and guild PQ were carried actively throughout the first 4 months.... Guild rank were even recorded num 4 in the Honarable Rock and the name of the Devilz were more recognize around...


However, even the strongest, most glorious days will have an end... at the month of april, IAmHealer started to on lesser, and more members follow his footsteps, with the option of leaving, slacking or never heard of eversince...


On and off, time to time, the devilz will sprung back to life with the help of a handful of JR and GM... in total to this very date, 4 generation has been recruited into the guild, with each generation going through various challenges.


Indeed, CuteDevilz has been through numerous patches of Maple, numerous glory and despair days. And now, a final recruit known as the Generation Theogony, which means the birth of Gods, where members will be chosen to join the guild closely, and hopefully the dark days of the guild has finally come to an end.


It takes time to rebuild a shattered guild, and everything have to start from small. Hopefully in due times, this guild will have personal bossing system, a guild that will be enjoy by many, hatred by none. A guild that will assist maplers all around and not judgemental about others. A guild that creates friendship, that will last though out time.


The history is meant to be remembered, so that we can propel ourself to the future. By looking back, only we can learn to move forward. Cutedevilz, Reborn.

Cutedevilz - where the journey truly begins

Firstly welcome to the family of the devilz. For all newcomers, this should b the first thing you read to know how to go around in the guild, as well as know how the guild runs.


Firstly the guild is base on a family first, then lvl-ing second basis, meaning that we emphasise more on meeting new ppl n keeping in contact whether or not u content the game. There are no obvious hierarchy. However, ppl with leadership qualities and contribution to the guild will earn them titles, which are known as ArchAngels.


To earn this title, one has several ways to get to it. One of the most common ways is via the point system. When a player reach 450 point,meeting will b carried out by the GM n ArchAngels to discuss n vote. Another way in special cases will b the player involvement in guild. As mention, as long as you are potential, your name will b submitted by the ArchAngels n the same process continues.


The hierarchy goes like this : ArchAngels - to b nominated
Celestials - lvl 95 n above
Diabolic - lvl 70
Cutedevilz - lvl 50
Apart from that, to enter to this guild your min lvl should b 50, unless on special recommendation or request.


Another diff our guild may b diff is the new point based system, where both merit and demerit point will b given to players, both angels and devils in guild. On a separate post, it has stated how to earn merits n prevent demerits. When one appears to have 5 demerits, they will b summon to meet with the GM n a few ArchAngels and if found guilty, that player will b kick from guild.


Since merits system is new, the rewards will b constantly updated. So for now just try to accumulate as much points as possible. KIV for the upcoming post regarding merits reward.

Role of the Celestials

1. To scout out for potential members for the guild n to submit name to ArcAngel by placing a notice in BBS.


2. Constantly assist cutedevils n diabolic in getting use to guild as well as game play.


3. Participate actively in events and help out in planning events.

Roles of the ArchAngel

ArchAngel

"with great power, comes great responsibilty"

1 To ensure the guild is running smoothly when GM is not present by ensuring guild members adhere to every single rule without breaking it at all times.

2. Plan activities with all ArchAngel from time to time and keep the BBS up to date.

3. Be as helpful as you can when members approach you and must be humble at all times.

4. In an event where disciplinary action need to be taken, ArchAngels must come to an agreement to expel that particular member. IT IS NOT A SOLE DECISION.

5. In terms of merit points, it is only recorded by certain ArchAngel, those not appointed for this job is not allow to give any merit point to anyone.

6. ArchAngel are given the privilege of slots in terms of bossing, events and recommendation to bring ppl into the guild.

7. Any content during discussion between GM and the ArchAngel must be kept discrete.

Merits for DevilZ thats ANgel

1. Every week, a day will be set by the GM or JR randomly. Then a set of question will be asked in guild.The person who gives the correct ans the fastest wins. Each correct ans entitle the person to obtain 1 merit points. (Merit points : 1 merit point for each win)

2. In the end of the day, lvl of a particular character speaks how much that person has grow as a player or how dedicated he/she has in the game. Thus, lvl - ing also earn you demerit points. It is seperated to various lvls.

Merit points: lvl 50 - lvl 54 : 0.5 point lvl 71 - lvl 75 : 4.5 point lvl 95 - lvl 99 : 7 point

lvl 55 - lvl 59 : 1 point lvl 76 - lvl 79 : 5 point lvl 100 : 10 point

lvl 60 - lvl 64 : 1.5 point lvl 80 - lvl 84: 5.5 point

lvl 65 - lvl 69 : 2 point lvl 85 - lvl 89 : 6 point

lvl 70 : 4 point lvl 90 - lvl 94 : 6.5 point

Lvl 100 and above there are 80% chance u will be considered a JR, so lvl - ing is important ya!!

3. Every fortnight, 3 members will be selected as the MOST HELPFUL, MOST FRIENDLY AND MOST KIND person in guild. Members who is selected will be awarded 3 points. It is done via a voting system in discrete. Each member holds 1 point vote where else JR holds 2 point.

Merit points: Most Kind - 3 point

Most Friendly - 3 point

Most Helpful - 3 point

4. Every now and then, maple have events from time to time and celebration. Certain event could or may involve the guild. Thus whenever there is a guild event, please attend it as attendance will earn you 1 merit point. Event details will be at BBS so check it from time to time. (Merit points : 1 point for attendance in events)

5. All points awarded is only for char at a time, and it may not be transfer to any other acc.

5 GOLDEN RULES OF THE DEVILZ

1. Action such as KS-ing, Scamming, Looting and Discriminating will not be tolerated in this guild, unless there is a valid reason. If found guilty by the Jr, u will be summon to answer to your own action. Failure to do so will result in expulsion. (Demerit point : 1 - 5)

2. Any issue that brings discomfort, discontent or negativity to the guild, pls settle it in guild by approaching a Jr to help. If found negative rumors being spread by any guild members outside guild action will be taken. (Demerit point : 1 - 3)

3. In any event if anyone cant online for a period of time, they must leave a BBS message in guild by stating how long they will be away and reason. If anyone is found not online for 2 weeks continues, demerit point will be given. ( Demerit point : After 2 weeks, 1 point, then every subsequent week 1 point. )

4. Whenever there is guild event in game such as Christmas gathering, CNY bash, surprise birthday party, GPQ etc, it is advisable for all to join if possible. Its not a must but as a guild, we encourage unity and togetherness. So keep yourself updated daily by checking the BBS.

5. All decision made by the GM and JR is FINAL.

[Gathering] Surprise Reunion

After the guild reactive on 7 October, GM finally shows up and meets up with some ex-guild mate. But sadly, until now, the ex-guild mate that managed to be found back was just 1! The other was either inactive or playing other character.

Trez: I’m sorry GM, I quit guild with the reason of the guild was too ‘quiet’. I felt lonely and helpless.

GM: Is ok, I understand. By the way, this guild is to help you grow. After you grow up, you can either stay or left the nest.

Jelly: Err..I’m still in the guild. Is that mean I didn’t grow up? F5!

GM: ……..

By the way, the reunion was great. Maplestory is not just for gaming. It connects friends and family who are separated thousand miles away. Why am I said that? It is because when the SS was taken. It was 1 am in the morning at Malaysia time zone and 6 pm at GM’s place time zone. Amazing huh? Want to meet up? Each side has to scarifies some time and be more committed.
